"Atticus told me to delete the adjectives and I'd have the facts" --Harper Lee
.
Whenever the forces of injustice confront me, I read this book. It happens more often than I'd like to admit. Still, I turn the last page and every time I have a feeling of hope.
.
I collect different editions of this book and wonder about the previous readers of that particular book. Mostly, I wonder how they ever let it go.
.
Here's to a weekend of less thinking, more kissing (the ones you love, of course),

Great reminder, Sherry!
Ah, yes- one of my all-time favorite books, too (and fave movie)- I almost named my daughter Scout.
"Mostly, I wonder how they ever let it go." - I love that line
I don't think I own a copy right now ... how did I let it go ... maybe it is in your collection
I have never collected various copies of the same book- love that

Love that book! And I just saw the movie again last weekend for the umpteenth time.
Here's to a wonderful, peaceful relaxing weekend for all.

i feel the same way about Catcher in the Rye
Just had a conversation with both my sons, who have both read the book. My 17 year old thinks it is perhaps one of the very best books ever written. I quite agree.
Ha - and I just read the last post - Catcher in the Rye is also one of the very best. (I was an English major, what can I say...)
I love that book. And I forget, I used to know how many editions you had?
Wonderful book..a longtime favorite of mine! Great that you collect it!
I'll have to add this one to my wish list... can't say I've read it in quite a very long time. ♥
