Two things I love about my work are the stories of how my customers find me and how my jewelry finds it's way into the celebrations of life.
.
Today was no exception. I got a lovely email from Jayne who saw this photo on my flickr It seems that Jayne is going to propose marriage to her boyfriend in a charming setting in the Lake District, UK. It's a very fitting piece since Jayne's love just happens to be a postman. So, I'll refashion it without the chain, and keep my fingers crossed that he says, yes.
.
Ah, love.

Cool story! Good luck Jayne.
Ahhh how sweet....and I guess the postman does ring twice!
So sweet! And re: your weather comment on my blog~I came south due to weather frustrations in the northeast!
I'm so excited for Jayne, and you...and him! Have I told you that I am in love with love? Oh most certainly, I smile at couples everywhere, it gives me chills to be close to such vulnerability, humility, vibrance and...you get it. I bet you're super excited to make the piece, yay for everyone!
THE POSTMAN SAID YES!
Thank you all for your comments before and after the proposal. We have enjoyed reading them all. We are enjoying the wedding planning and no doubt Sherry will be commissioned to make pieces for us again in the future.
Jayne and Steve (the postman). UK.
