Staying Level-Headed

I've had a number of conversations with myself lately about posting a personal blog on my professional website.
What I have come to realize is that I can't set my artist self apart from my personal self.
My studio is in the attic of our home. It is purposefully placed there because my guys; Bob, Danny and Zorro influence not only my life, but my process as well.
Working from home is a great joy for me. And heck where else can you eat a sandwich for lunch by a copper fire pit, with a fire you've kept going for 2 days and nights? And so it goes.

Sherry, I struggled with this too but came to realise the same thing...it's all weaved together and to pull it apart kind of doesn't make sense.

It would be different if we owned, say, a hardware store :)

Artist self/personal self... definitely intertwined.

I think every artist comes to this perceived fork in the road eventually. There is no separating the two, lest you lose the authenticity of either part of yourself.

Yes - echoing the same thoughts. I think it is very difficult to draw a line between the two.

I agree. My art comes from my life and so it should be intertwined.

I agree with everyone about not pulling it apart. This bracelet is great! It does remind me of my husband!
