....until vacation. I have never worked this many hours for this many weeks.

20 more days until my toes squish in the cold wet sand.

20 more days until my husband smiles and sighs and I sigh right back and we don't need to say a word.

20 more days until we ride our bikes where the cars give us respect, where men tip their hats and hold hands with the women they've loved for 40 years.

Easing my way back to reality with a few shots from Cape May. Hope you all had a wonderful week. That's my son on the parasail and Bob and me on the beach. I'm tan, relaxed and sandy. What more could you ask for?

Back in the Saddle Again

Well, we are back from one of the nicest, most relaxing vacations we've had. Cape May is the oldest seashore town in the United States. It's peaceful, yet fun. The old Victorian homes are painted vibrant colors and are known as painted ladies. We did a lot of bike riding, but not quite enough to work off those french fries.

I did do a bit of work while we were away. Checked on my website and my shop, sketched some new designs in my molskine and tried to plan for the upcoming holiday season. That's what I'm going to be working on in the next couple of weeks. I'll share my plans as they unfold, and I'd love to hear yours as well.

I promise to be more faithful in updating my blog; now that I'm not posting in the fora, I should have lots more time. Time to put the beach umbrellas away, and get busy.
