Earthlust

Everytime I find a product that will help me leave a smaller footprint on the planet, I'm a happy camper. It's an earthlust stainless steel water bottle I plan on keeping forever. I got mine at powderfin, but they are available at lots of places. I chose powderfin because they only work with manufacturers who employ environmentally conscious business practices.

Did you know there are over 2.5 Million plastic water bottles thrown away every hour? Less than 15% of water bottles are recycled and the rest end up in landfills where it takes up to 1000 years to degrade.

Thanks for the tip. I have been looking for a nice one. I will order one from there this weekend! :) We have well water at home that we can't drink so we have to buy bottled. Anything with a filter doesn't last here the water is so rusty! The water at work tastes like chemicals and i drink water all day long. I usually buy a gallon and just refill a plastic one, but I like this idea much better!

Just wanted to let you know that I just ordered my Dragonfly water bottle AND my husband got the Fish! Thanks so much for steering us to Powderfin. We cringe every week when we leave the store with a case of the little bottles and two of the 2 gallon tapper ones. This will eliminate the little bottles and we will only have to buy the big ones and can fill our bottles from those. At least it will keep something out of the landfills.

Can't wait to see all your new bottles. Kathy, you only need baking soda and water to wash them, no soap.

I took my crow bottle to the gym this morning, and on my way out, fished a half a dozen plastc water bottles out of the regular trash( I used gloves) and brought them home to put in my recyling bin.

We have Klean Kanteens. My husband wanted a 40 oz bottle and they were one of the few companies that had them. This past Christmas we bought them for all our family members. And baking soda and water, that's what I do too.
