Snow Day!

The snow blankets our neighborhood with quiet and beauty. The first shots I took were just before 7:00 AM. I went inside to warm my toes and get a cup of coffee. Within an hour the sun was brilliant in the sky, so I ran back out to capture a few more shots before the hustle of the day begins. Enjoy.

Nothing like a bright blue sky backdrop.

Enjoy your snow day!

I'm totally wimpy about going out in the snow these days. It was a beautiful car ride through the park, though- wished I had brought my camera. Truly a sight to behold!

As much as I really, really, really HATE the snow and the winter, you managed to capture the beauty in it!

Isn't it amazing how the snow can be so heavy on the ground and come with such force. Then you look up at the sky and it's like nothing happened. Sort of like when your 3 yo throws a huge tantrum and then within a split second they're playing with a cheerio. Gorgeous pictures..have a great day.

We had snow not long ago (YAY! First in two years!) but it wasn't that picturesque. But at least Zack got to go sledding for the first time ever!

It looks so beautiful!
Still hard to believe that it's so unbelievably hot here and so cold there.

What beautiful photos... i's been snowing here in the UK, but with the grit and rain mixed in, I feel like I'm walking in a giant cola slush puppie!

These are gorgeous! We don't usually get a lot of snow in the Pacific Northwest so you'll usually see me out there with my camera before it melts off the trees.
