Sometimes, I really do move too fast for my own good. Last week I purchased some excellent, and very sharp shears to cut sheet sterling. I've been wanting to cut out some guitar picks to make necklaces for a long time and thought yesterday was the perfect opportunity. I cut out five, I got distracted, my finger got in the way....and the rest is history. Today, I'll be taking it a little slower. Ouch!

Awww....I hate boo boos.
Ouch is right. It's amazing how dangerous creativity can be! My worst was a bad burn from touching hot PMC. I don't know where my brain was at that moment. Hope you heal fast!
Ouch! Just the thought...blah. On the other hand, the pendant looks great!
How do you stamp so neatly? I'm the crappiest stamper. There has to be something wrong with my method.
Ouch!! But at least the pendant came out beautiful.
Ouch! My stomach flipped reading this.
But the necklaces are really nice!
ouch! heal quickly Sherry!
yikes!!! sorry...ahh the scars we suffer for our art :). Hope it heals quickly.

Thanks, everyone. I'm healing quite nicely, but cookies are always appreciated.
Ouch! Glad you are okay
Yup. I know exactly what happened from another moves-to-fast gal... they called me Ms. Accident-prone for a while. Finally, I've learned to slow down a bit with sharp objects. A bit.
Hope you heal quickly!
Oh no! I hate when I injure myself from doing things too fast, especially when it comes to sewing, I feel like the only way to resolve all the pin pricking is to wear thimbles on all my fingers!
Lovely pendant, the edges look so smooth!
Oh ouch!!
The necklace is great though.
I haven't been brave enough to work with sheet metal yet, for fear of cuts.
I'll eat an apple oatmeal cookie for you Sherry!
The necklace does look nice~
Ouch is right!
Hope you feel better soon!

OH and it's even worse when you have to put your hand in water. I just put a new blade in my rotary cutter and all the time I was doing it I worried about slicing my finger.
OW ow ow. And you spend the rest of the time thinking, If only I hadn't been in such a hurry...
