Back in the Saddle Again

Well, we are back from one of the nicest, most relaxing vacations we've had. Cape May is the oldest seashore town in the United States. It's peaceful, yet fun. The old Victorian homes are painted vibrant colors and are known as painted ladies. We did a lot of bike riding, but not quite enough to work off those french fries.

I did do a bit of work while we were away. Checked on my website and my shop, sketched some new designs in my molskine and tried to plan for the upcoming holiday season. That's what I'm going to be working on in the next couple of weeks. I'll share my plans as they unfold, and I'd love to hear yours as well.

I promise to be more faithful in updating my blog; now that I'm not posting in the fora, I should have lots more time. Time to put the beach umbrellas away, and get busy.

Sherry,
I hear Cape May is wonderful. I’ve never been that far south on the shore but friends of ours that live in the Edison area go down there almost yearly. It sounds like a wonderful vacation. -Elisa

That's what the beaches in Oregon are like, and I just love them. Peaceful and serene... Glad you had a nice vacation. ;)

Sherry,
I hope you don't mind that I stop by and read your blog. You were always such an inspiration in the fora. And your work is so lovely and unique.
Glad you had a good vacation. When I lived in NY we used to go to Wildwood occasionally, and Asbury Park...That was a loooong time ago.
Look forward to hearing your holiday business plans.(Since Etsy apparently hasn't any)

I'm glad you had such a great time, Sherry. Sitting here in wintery Melbourne, I long for the warmth in those photos!
As for leaving the fora and having more time for your business....two thumbs up!
