So, my friend Alexis calls last week and says, "do you know what's hot for Spring?" No, I don't Alexis, I live in South Jersey and the only thing that's hot are the cover ups by the swimming pool.
"Pins",she says," everywhere, on blouses and sweaters and suits". Now Alexis has just returned from Paris so she must know what she is talking about.
I can make pins, I say, lapel pins and scatter pins. I hole myself up in my studio and come up with these!
I did make a fifth prototype with my cool magnets and ball bearings, but the magnets were so strong that the pin backs won't open. Back to the drawing board on that one.
So, thank you Alexis, my dear friend. Your pin is in the mail.
Available now in my shop. Next week there will be a give away on someone's blog, but more about that later.

Those are very nice.
My pins usually sit in my Etsy shop forever. But if they are trendy.... well.... I just might have to try a few more.
Pins? That's great news! You're are uber-cute.
I LOVE those!! What a great idea!
I'm not so trendy myself and had no idea that pins were hot. But I have sold a lot of flower brooches lately so that could explain why!

Very nicely done!
