Do you believe in Karma?

Yesterday was just one of those days. I came home from the gym, and I saw that my friend Janell from dancingmooney was on the front page of etsy. So, I sent her a convo to tell her about it.
She thanked me, and a few hours later the treasury above, with my peppermint drop earrings appeared on the front page. It was so lovely.
But the story doesn't end there. A few hours later, Janell commented on my blog. She liked our home and she and her fiance are looking to buy their first home.
Stay with me. I was browsing on the fora and I came across an artist, Julie Beck from juliebcreative who posted about becoming a featured artist. Her work is fabulous, and I agreed she should be featured. She made a nice comment about my work and I started looking at her shop more closely.
And there it was. Julie paints homes in an amazing style. We live in a craftsman bungalow (see post below) and some of my older neighbors have paintings of their homes from the 1940's by an itinerant painter who traveled through the area. They are so beautiful. And now, thanks to the photos I sent Julie, we'll have one too. Shhhh, it's a present for my husband for Valentine's day.
And, all because I had houses on the brain. Karma.

Sherry! Thanks so much for this blog post, but there's still more!!

When I was on the front page yesterday, guess who made that treasury?? JulieB!!!

I think that's so cool that she's doing a painting of your house for you, that's so awesome... Funny how the world goes round isn't it?

Oh how cool! i definitely believe in "etsy karma"! My way of replenishing my karma is trading lots and buying lots from my fellow etsyers :-) ok so maybe that's just my obsessive shopping and trading habits rather than a way to build up good karma, but hey! it does work because a lot of times, those people come back to my store and buy from us!
